Four National Awards, One Shared Standard: What Recognition Says About the LMC Landscape Partners Family

This year, four projects across the LMC Landscape Partners family of companies were recognized at the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) 2026 Awards of Excellence. These awards celebrate outstanding achievement across the landscape industry nationwide.

The honors span two partner companies, two markets and very different types of properties. Together, they show what’s possible when strong local teams are supported by a platform built to help them grow.

The 2026 Award-Winning Projects

🥇 Gold Award: LMC Houston Southwest, MD Anderson Patio: Nature Within Reach

The team created and maintains an outdoor environment designed to bring patients, families and visitors closer to nature.

🥈 Silver Award: LMC Houston Southwest, Rice University Quad Native Landscape Restoration

The team established and cares for native plantings while maintaining the quality and character of Rice University’s iconic campus.

🥉 Bronze Award: Cutter’s Edge (Shinto Legacy), Executive Airport Center

Working in phases, the team transformed an active, fully occupied property by replacing high-maintenance plant material, improving irrigation efficiency and establishing a more resilient landscape with minimal disruption to tenants.

🥉 Bronze Award: Cutter’s Edge, Gateway Commerce Center

The team maintains this Class A industrial campus using proactive maintenance and Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ practices that protect long-term plant health and keep curb appeal high year-round.

Local Teams, Local Expertise

Each of these projects reflects deep knowledge of its market. Houston’s heat, heavy rain and clay soils are very different from South Florida’s tropical climate and dry season. Award-winning results come from teams who understand their local conditions, clients and properties.

That’s why LMC Landscape Partners is built around preserving what makes each partner company great. Local leadership, local relationships and local expertise stay at the center of how every company operates.

Different Markets, Shared Knowledge

What partner companies gain is access to a broader network. Across the LMC family, teams can share:

  • Operational best practices.
  • Horticultural knowledge and problem-solving.
  • Safety and training resources.
  • Leadership development opportunities.
  • Lessons learned from different markets and property types.

When one company solves a challenge, the entire network benefits.

Recognition That Reflects People

Awards are earned by people. Behind each of these projects are crews, account managers and leaders who care for these properties every day. Their skill and dedication are what make national recognition possible.

Supporting those people through training, resources and career growth is central to how LMC Landscape Partners works with every partner company.

Growing Together

These four awards are a proud moment for the entire LMC family, and a reflection of what strong teams can accomplish when they have the support to do their best work.

For landscape company owners thinking about the next stage of growth, LMC Landscape Partners offers a partnership that respects your legacy, invests in your people and helps your company reach its full potential. We’d welcome the conversation.
